Catching a blenny

Any ideas on how I can get my Red Sea Mimic blenny out of my tank. I love the little bugger but after 9 months he is now starting to eat my SPS corals. He pics at my birdsnest's, stylophora, monti dig. He is just driving me nuts, and if it's between him and the corals, well the corals win every time.
Any ideas other than fish traps please speak up. I gotta get him out before he kills my corals.
P.S. And no taking the rock out is not an option.
Thanks in advance

Drain the water down 1/2 way and stop up the entrances to caves with some filter pad material..you can get it in large pieces.

I agree. My only question is, is he getting enough to eat, i.e. brine shrimp and other foods that he feels the need to pick at the corals? :notsure:

Bruce, I feed my fish 2 times a day algae and flake or pellets in am and a mix of mysis, formula1, squid, spirulina, and brine in the PM. He definately gets enough to eat. He just started with an orange monti dig I put in and since then has started on the birdsnest's and stylo frtags. He is killing the stylo frag. I am going to try to make a grab for him this afternoon.
Thanks for the help guys.

I am glad you posted this as I had considered getting one. What a shame, they are so beautiful. Did you get him out?

NO, even with the filter stuff and draining the water he is just to crafty. It is weird he didn't touch anything for 9 months and then all the sudden starts picking at SPS. I really do like the fish as well. Gonna wathc and see how it goes, maybe try to catch him again some other day. Or wait till he goes into the overflow, he's good for that about ever 3-4 months.

Sorry to ask but do all blennies nip on corals? I have a red lip and I just started putting corals in my tank. Should I worry?

I have 4 types of blenny and have never had a problem. each individual fish is diffrent..and I don't think they can read the specs on how they are supposed to act.
If you read about them, there is a warning that blennies can nip corals and clam mantles.
