catching a damsel

There was a post on here a while ago about how hard it is to catch a damsel. I tried by putting in my two nets and steering him into one. That really didn't work. I was about to move all the decorations and then i though i would use some bait. I put a few flakes in he went for it and i scooped him up. It was the easies catch i have ever had for any fish.

Exactly. I've been trying to tell people forever just to get a plastic bag, fill it with tank water, drop in their fav food, see what happens. They are bold eaters, and will go right for it. scoop 'em up, and he's already in a bag, ready to travel accross the room to another tank, or back to the store. Easy. Plus, you don't have to use a net at all, since this sometimes hurts their slime coat. And the "fish-out-of-water"(and on the carpet) risk disappears.
