catching fish tips please!!

Can someone give me some tips on catching my redfin fairy wrass? I don't want to remove all my rock if I don't have to. I have a large net in there now ,maybe in a couple days he'll get use to it and when I feed him I can scope him up. Any help?

He may get used to it but when it moves, he'll hide again. If you have a light colored net, I've heard you can sew a black square in the middle. The fish thinks it's a hole and goes right in

Try a trap. Worked for me getting a yellow damsel out of my reef.

Construct a trap out of a suitably sized plastic coke bottle. Just cut the top off right below the neck, and invert it. Put a piece of food in, and leave it in overnigh, or however long you need to. Bo
