Doesnt the cat on my back while i was doing the water test win this little contest?
LOL ... aren't you allergic to cats?
A friend of mine came home to his cat sitting up in between the hanging halides on the center brace of an open tank, front paw going after fish. He said the fish didn't seem to care. I would have flipped out if I caught my cat doing that!

Yes I am allergic to cats. My allergies seem to be calming down a little now that he has been in the house for a while. However, when he gets all lovey dovey with me and my face, its off to take a clairatin or else i will be a mess for the next several hours. As I have said before, my wife really picked a winner with this cat. And my cat, the black long hair, doesnt bother me unles he gets all lovey dovey with my face too.
For those wondering whats in my house, this is what we have:
Lady - 14 year old border collie with cushings, arthritis, and knee ligament damage
Spook - 9 or 10 year old long haired cat that survived fatty liver disease and currently has thyroid issues
Mushu - 5 year old pug that has hip displaysia so bad that her back leg hip joint pops in and out soo freely that it doesnt cause her pain, but she has allergies to some kind of grain so we have to get grain free food for the dogs
Sully - 2 year old Standard poodle mixed with something and so far the healthest pet we have. But he is a horse (100 pounds and taller than me on his hind legs.) and far larger than what a standard poodle should be. I just gave him my first grooming and I think he turned out ok. Ask my wife to post the link to her grooming board for the thread about it with pics.
Percy - 4 month old kitten that we just got and had his check up at the vet the other day and came back all healthy.
Eventually we will have fish and shrimp and snails

Gotta love those PUGS.....I have had one all my life....you'd think I would have learned by now

right now I have
Meowzer - (house cat) 9 years old, born in my home....best damn cat I have ever known :)
Trixy - (house cat) 5 years old...got her cause she looked like Meowzer

Rosie - 5 year old PUG...need I say more....allergies, and Pug stuff
Pixie - a mix of chihuhua, yorkie, and who knows what else....3 years old....My mother in law had these pups at her house one day....and everyone LOVES a pup

Friskie - 10 year old outdoor female cat....she was a stray we picked up off the street, she use to come n the house until a previous Pug of mine attacked her...LOL...I think it made her "retarded"....But if I try to take her in the house, she literally climbs the walls....REALLY
I am proud to say all my pets are spayed and neutered

My dog does the same thing as your cat. My dog also gets jealous when I give too much attention to my tank.

We have a little dog (toy poodle) that my wifes aunt gave us before she passed away and she is absolutely addicted to the fish tanks. The minute I let her out when I get home she runs strait for the tank and wants to be picked up so she can look at them. If I hold her out with both hands infront of the tank she actually doggie paddles like she's swimming. And when I put her down she wines. For some reason she is infatuated with our little goby. She's competely written off the fish in our fw cichlid tank ever since we got the sw fish. She's a nut, she sits up ontop of the couch and just stares all night long. My wife thinks we both need counceling.

Then there is my Cat Callie the one thing I got in my First Marriage that I wanted besides some Family Heirlooms. She is now 5 Years old Spayed Front Declawed and a sweetherat. She will let my kids Do whatever they want to her. However she loves to go Fishing. She figured out my fish have teeth however when my old SFE attacked her thinking food. She has stopped going into my big tank since.

When I met my hubby he told me that he would never own more that ONE dog, LOL. Told him he had one and I had one, so when was he getting rid of his? OK, then 2 dogs were plenty. Then I brought home an old toy poodle to foster that just never left. So then three dogs were ok, well not really, but he put up with it. In the meantime we had also adopted (okay, i just brought them home) 2 cats. To be fair though I was only going to keep one and he really liked one of the others (there were 5 kittens total and I did find homes for 3) and insisted we keep both. So there we were with 3 dogs and 2 cats and he decides he really wants a Pug. I question him about his dog number limit rule and his response was "Well, when you have three dogs, what's one more?" So we adopt MuShu. MuShu was supposed to be HIS dog and he is her least favorite person LOL. Then we lost Molly, our Toy Poodle and I went a month before I just had to get another poodle. I adopted Sullivan who has turned out to be some poodle crossed with clydesdale! He's 100 pounds! So we were back to 4. Sadly, in March his cocker, the one he had before we met, passed away. Then in June my cat, Tigger, became very ill very suddenly and I had to put him to sleep. So we were down to 3 dogs and 1 cat and the house felt so unbelievably empty. I had promised him no more cats but just couldn't keep myself from wanting another one. So then we found Percy and he loves him as much as I do. So neener neener honey! I have made you a complete convert from the "One dog is enough" mentality!

While it is all true, I only had one dog through out all of this until now. I dont have a dog, my wife has the 3 dogs and 2 cats. None of the dogs truely love me. Closest one is Sully. He is always looking to me for approval, but when I tickle and play with the kids, he bites at me to protect them. When the kids jump on me and i call out in pain, he still tries to bite me to protect them. He hasnt done any real damage to me, but if you ever come over to my house, be nice to the kids or Sully will get ya, LOL.

Can I borrow her then? I have a squirrel that has made a home in my front porch roof. It cant get into the house unless it knows how to chew through wood and plaster and whatnot. I have wanted that squirrel out for a while now.
