Caught the Mantis Shrimp!

I made a trap using a 2 liter bottle and put a piece of fresh shrimp in it and caught my resident Mantis Shrimp in less than 24 hours. Sure is better than taking out all of the rock.

someone posted awhile back details on how to make a trap like that, im glad that i works, did he kill any of your fish?

id like to see a pic of the shrimp. what are you going to do with it?

No, the tank is only in the seventh day of LR and he came in on it. He may have dined on the animals on the rock but I do not have fish yet. The LR had all kinds of other animals on it. Found two bristle starfish and many other inverts. The shrimp is gone! I was so glad to get him out that I threw him in the garbage.

This is a what my LR looked like in the sixth day. I am very pleased with it.
