Those two should be fine. Mine are ok together.
Just don't put two CBS together. That could be trouble!

I would't advise putting those two together. I and many other board members have done this only to find that the CBS ate a very expensive snack. They lasted together in a 45g for about 3 days.
If you do decide to get one, make sure your CBS is small and you get a larger cleaner, they will have a better chance than the other way around. HTH

My CBS and cleaner shrimp are OK toghther. They are sometimes in the same cave together. They were not added at the same time. But I have a 115, so if they are sick of each other, thay can go elsewhere.

You should be ok, I have a 55g and the CBS went in first and about 3 mo later the skunk cleaner went in. They are fine together. The cleaner is almost as big as the CBS. I also have a 29g and I have another CBS in there and 6 peppermint shrimp. They all seem to get along fine. One tip though. I do (about 3X a week) speciffically feed the CBS some frozen food, like mysis, plankton etc. Good luck

CBS shrimp is used to be reef safe. I have one in my reef and it never ate any polyps. I admit, this shrimp hates all the world and he is very nervous when hungry. Just give him piece of coctail shrimp ones a week and it will be ok.
As for polyp eater - it's Camel shrimp. I saw mine picking on corals. And if you will search the web for info about Camel shrimp, you'll find out that this shrimp is not trusted in reef tanks.

Well I bought one (which is quite a bit smaller unfortunately)...the CBS definately has tried eating him more than once already. He doesn't appear as mobile as the cleaner shrimp so the cleaner gets away pretty easy. I am going to have to try feeding the CBS more often to see if that helps.

Seems like a hit or miss situation. I would recommend keeping the CBS fed. If he's fed, maybe he won't go after the cleaner. Personally, I like the cleaners better.
