Has anybody had a CBS whose claws fell off?????

aquaworld75 Member Oct 23, 2003 #4 This may seem silly but did you see the Shrimp with the claws missing or did you just see parts around your tank? Maybe he is just molting... I dont know...we are talking about a Coral Banded Shrimp right? Just my 2 cents

iceburger Member Oct 23, 2003 #6 Yes they can lose their claws...its a defence mechanism kinda like how a lizard loses his tail...they'll grow back in a few weeks...if he's healthy
