cbs molted

question about my CBS. he molted tonight and both his molt and himself were stuck to the filter inlet. i thought he was dead at first, but noticed somthing inside him moving. and he slowly got up and is moving now. he has 4 legs to walk on, think others were alreay ripped off into the filter. he previouly riped off his own claws (previous post). so he is lookig pretty bad. the question is when they molt are they usally weak for a while?

yes that is a moment of weakness for attack but not in your case they will hide in the rock rock till they are ok if he got stuck then he is weak for some reason maybe stressed out he should not be bothered by you filter at all.
