CBS peaceful or dangerous

so reason for the tempermant being peaceful is in larger tanks over 100 gal ?
well mine is 80 gal RT with lots of small fish and i saw it claw at my Yellow Tang so I'm gonna play it safe and move him into another tank. Any help how to get him out ? Try to net him and maybe get lucky ? how can I lure him to an open area w/o messing the rockwork and the 25 corals that are perfectly poisitoned(took me weeks).
SWF.COM list him as Peaceful.

Put a cube of prime reef or some other type of food inside a net, in the tank and wait for that s.o.b., Then simply scoop em out

Too late I got him it took some time, I need to be very careful not to move any corals or rocks as I have them placed how I like 'em. Now I understand why I'm missing a Royal Dottyback and a Wrasse, not to mention the unexplained death of some tangs I got him small and he just got bigger and bigger... I saw him clawing and attacking like a predator my Yellow Tang. So he is definately imo not peaceful...he's now in my other tank with a Porcupine Puffer..I cant risk him destroying my community of fish in the DT. This explains many questions I've been having to an extent. I saw him attacking my fish, how they can be listed as peaceful is beyond me. Just glad I got it outa there.

they can be peaceful or dominant depending on when u add them to your tank, mine was the boss for a while because he was the first addition to the tank, the more fish i got the more timid he became. then he got his when he was murdered by nasserous snails.

How does a little ol' snail kill a big shrimp with pinchers?

lol i know right, actually they tag teamed him, 6 of them actualy and took off his pinchers first. i believe he had a bad molt but he was still his normal self that whole day

CBS are evil! I had a thread on them a couple weeks ago...I caught mine latched onto the throat of my golden headed goby (luckily it got away after a couple seconds).
The cbs found himself on a road trip to the lfs and I brought back home a couple of peppermints to take it's place in the clean up.

I've had a CBS in my 75 for about 2 years now. He is in there with a LMB, 3 green Chromis and 2 true percs. Every so often I used to see him make a grab for one of the chromis but I havent seen him do it in a long time and now one of the chromis hangs out in his cave with him.

I watched him vigoursly snatch at my Yellow Tang several times I took him out and put him in my other tank. He's missing perhaps the Porcupine Puffer ate him.

Dear hobbyist , I have a cbs in my 150 gallon aquarium right now . Sometimes it gets aggressive ,but I also have some aggressive fish , including a harlequin tusk ,which hasn't bothered my cbs at all . My guise is , it must be interested in the bristle worms that are on the lr . And all of my tangs are larger than my cbs . My 3 damsels are to fast , so it basically stays to itself .
