I got this e-mail from a friend and it may be worth a few of your minutes.
10 days from today, all cell phone numbers are being
released to
> telemarketing companies and you will start to receive sale calls.
>

> YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR ALL THESE CALLS

> To prevent this, call the following number from your cell phone:
> 1-888-382-1222 . It is the National DO NOT CALL list. It will only
take a
> minute of your time. It blocks your number for five (5) years.

> You must call from the cell phone number you are wanting to have
blocked .
> You cannot call from a different phone number. HELP OTHERS BY
PASSING THIS

Taken from donotcall.Gov
"You may have received an email telling you that your cell phone is about to be assaulted by telemarketing calls as a result of a new cell phone number database; however, that is not the case. FCC regulations prohibit telemarketers from using automated dialers to call cell phone numbers. Automated dialers are standard in the industry, so most telemarketers don’t call consumers on their cell phones without their consent."
Another email hoax it seems....
to register a phone you just go to the webpage and type it in...

i personally LOVE messing with telemarketers... do anything from try to sell them something, try to get them to dontate to my "charity" or i just repeat one word or phrase over and over...
there is a comedian named Tom Mabe that does this... he does one where he fakes like he is a detective and tells the telemarketer that Mr. Mabe is dead and then tells the telemarketer that he could be a suspect...

Phone Rings.
I pick up, Hello,
caller asks Is Peter Bienkiewicz there. I know they are trying to sell me something if they say my last name incorrectly. I say, Yes this is him. Caller tells me about there product. I say, Can you speak up, I don't have my hearing aid in. I get them to almost yell. Imagine what there co workers think... I respond by mixing there words up, like call with fall etc. but not so bad they hang up. So you sound intrested in there product. let them ramble on and on..... Ask them to hold because someone is at your door, and you are intrested in therer product. Wait 1 then go back. not to long so they hang up. Tell them your not intrested now. It was a salsman at the door selling a better product. They got you on the phone. waist there time so they can't make as many calls to others.....

I do to, I read on --, before being banned, that someone had a whole story on this, it was awesome.
I tried it once, it didn't work. I was like, you have called the cene of a crime, and they were like," what?" Then I hung up.
