has anyone tried this media , and how well does it work?

i used it, it was meh. I thought it blocked waterflow in the hagen hang on filter. other than that it was ok. I wont use mine till i cycle the next tank.

did it block flow like a carbon filter?I was thinking to place it before my fuge

I've read a couple articles on it, but haven't used it personally.......It has gotten decent reviews.
