Certain fish are getting enough food?

Hi All,
I have a 75 gallon with about 70 lbs of live rock I started about 2 months ago. I've had a cleaning crew of crabs and snails in for about 6 weeks, and finally added my first fish last week--a pair of perc clowns!
My question is, how can I be certain my fish are getting enough to eat? I bought both pellet and flake food. The problem is, when I add the food, they seem to miss almost all of it and get very little. Once the pellets hit the bottom the lose all interest, and they don't touch the flakes while on the surface and once they hit the water flow, it's anyone's guess where it goes from there.
I do see them getting *some* of the food, but I want to make sure I'm not starving them. I'd really appreciate any input you might have!!
Thanks!

Maybe try turning your power heads off for a moment when you feed or try different types of food. When I put mysis shrimp into my tank, my clown gets every last morsel.

get some frozen mysis shrimp they LOVE it and it doesn't sink to the bottom and stay there like flakes.
