Husker - i ship the cheato with no water, just wrapped in a damp towel. cheato is a macro algae, and a very tough one at that. i have shipped it from here in FL across the country to a frozen north cali and over 9 days later it was fine. this is one thing i have no problems shipping in cold weather. If it arrives dead, i will replace it for free.
Got mine yesterday and it looks great (even being new to Cheato I can see that its healthy). We did have a issue with USPS loosing the 1st shipment for a week and a half then the empty container was delivered and torn in half - Saltn00b got another shipment out to me the following week (so it didn't ship over the weekend - that was my choice)
Anyway - Heck of a great guy to deal with and he will get you the cheato!
