Chaeto Question

Hello, we would like to try to add chaeto to our 125 gallon fish only tank. We only have a 20 gallon sump, and wonder if there is another way to start a refugium? How do we go about doing a hang on refugium on our sump? Where do we find the supplies for this? Sorry, it's just hard for us to visualize how this would work. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated, does anyone have a picture of a hang on refugium?

I just converted a new Aquaclear 70 HOB filter into a fuge.
