chaeto turning brown

i used to 4x65w pc under these chaeto and just in a week they grow so so so fast and all suddenly they start to turning brown
is it because of too much light?
but in the bottom still green

wow that is a lot, maybe you just need to thin it out, the bottom maybe stealing all the food and flow

Could be lights, also if any sediments are sitting on top. My best guess is lights to much!

Not burn't, just no flow. Thin it out some, and you will see the new growth. It appears that it is above the water line also. Thinning is the answer.

I would say less light and a lot more flow.

I use a 50 watt spot light made for outside in a outdoor light fixture. Water safe. Does great. Weed out all that brown dead stuff and reduce the light.

why is that there's people out there that use MH under their refuge and their stuff look great
