Hey all, I'm going to bed. It's pushing 2:00AM here on the East Coast, but I will pick back up tomorrow. Just wanted to thank all of those that are participating. I am really enjoying all of the new topics and ideas. For the Mods (Sep), sorry, I really didn't think about all the extra work this would cause you. My thought process was just to "jump start" the forum...and for that, I don't apologize.

You know Sep I think I have a solution to your problem with Dwight here. If you elevate him to Mod then he can take care of al the new threads that will be started.
Just as a reminder of Dwight's qualifications for Modship here are some thoughts I had on the matter previously.
I am glad that you asked this Jenny. I don't think I would make a good Mod because I don't have the knowledge required. There is a member here though (T316) who I think has the knowledge required and the willingness (T316) to pass it on. He has a large tank so he can try things (T316) in his tank and tell us how they went. He has a nice Water making system that has belped (T316) at least one person make a similar type of system. (T316) He may have rubbed some people here the wrong way, but that is actually a good thing in two ways. It shows (T316) cares about making sure the right thing is being done and that he has the gumption to call people. After all (T316) we know this place does not always run smoothly and you need people (T316) who are willing to step up and stand up for what they feel is right. This person is (T316) ex-law enforcement so it shows that (T316) they have always cared for society and the laws that we need for civilization. Aside for all of these qualifications he is a father (T316) and also can be quite witty at times. (T316)
This person that I feel would make an excellent mod is the member T316. I think this board would defintiely be a better place if a person of that caliber were to be promoted to the exalted status of Mod!

There are other new threads, but I'll slack off on promoting them, in honor of Sep, unless they post here. I think we have stirred the conversation pot a little though. There's a lot of nice, new dialog taking place. I mean, who would have thought that a thread titled "blah blah blah" would have nearly 40 posts...

I don't think it's going down hill, rather just a changing of the guards. The removal of the buying/selling/trading forums ran off quite a few, but new voices are always coming in. It's time to just re-adapt to the current group and enjoy fellow hobbyist.
