Chance of Coral alive/living

Just received 90# of LR and noticed several areas of what appears to be Star coral.
What is the chance this is still alive and if so staying alive?
I am not adding calc or other elements at this time.
Your comments are appreciated, thanks.

Where did you get it?
It is a good chance it is still alive and can make it if you got it from a LFS. On the other hand, if you got it via mail order its probably been out of the tank for at least 3 days allready... I added Mark Weiss BacterVital during my cycle and had alot of calurpa and button polyps survive the cycle, but I got my rock from a LFS. 30 minutes tank to tank transit.

Kappa,
You forget that the LFS gets their rock shiiped too. The LFS rock stays out of the water for 48 hour also. You are right if the rock is cured, then the die off has already occured.
Kodi,
I would say there is a good chance that one or two will make it if those rocks are treated right. Give the suspected corals ample current and proper SW (i.e. salinity and temp) one or two probably will make it.
