Let me start off with saying thanks to everyone for helping me and others. THe question is in my 135 gallon that im turning reef i was gonna do 400 watts power compact and 500watts metal halide. Im putting money into a 40 g mud filter and cant afford the MH right now. Do you think softies will be fine with just 400w pc?

are your mhs running off the same ballast as the pcs?

No, the ballast u see in pic are the ones for the pc. The mh ballast is out of the pic to the left.
