Changing Color

I recently purchased a Long Horned Cow Fish, he's been in my tank for about 2 weeks now. I noticed that he has changed color. It appears that he has gone from a rather bright yellow to almost clear pale yellow. From the research I have done it says they can change color but it says they get darker not lighter. I am really worried, could it be that he isn't getting the proper nutrition?

They can change their color....depending upon their mood....or the time of the day...etc. Right after you turn the lights on, they look like kinda pale white, but soon they change back to its usual color....I doubt yours is going through any color change phase. But, remember that stress and malnutrition could lead to a color loss, too. What have you been feeding him? Any harassment from its tankmates??

He only has 2 other tank mates a pair of clowns his stress level should be really low since he seems to be the most active in the tank. I have only been feeding him shrimp. He doesnt seem to eat flake food, he either doesnt like it or he doesnt realize its food. He eats the shirmp real well. I think i should be feeding a variety of foods, but I dont really know what the best combo is. Any suggestions?
