changing VHO tubes

pretty much self explanitory here . . . how often should i be changing my vho lights. i know that i should only change one at a time to keep the shock to a minimum, but how often should i be doing it? my bulbs are about 2 months old right now. i only have 1 actinc and one 50/50

If you have a magnetic ballast I would recommend each bulb be replaced every 6 months. For electronic ballasts I would recommend every year.
