Chargers or Patriots?

What do you think?
Are the Chargers going to go to their second super bowl?
Are the Pats going to finish a record breaking season?

i have said this SO many times but i do want to remind everyone that i am not a pats fan...i am just a fan looking from the outside in because my team(49ers) went 5 and 11 this year...i dont think that any other team can beat the pats...i think that the teams left will give them one hell of a run for their money but i still dont see that patriots losing this year...

Hey man, I can't get on XBOX Live on during the week, at least at my dad's
, but we'll see if I can get on later this week since report cards come out so I maybe be able to use that as leverage against my dad to let me play.

Yep I've read your posts on the other thread, I thought it'd be nice to collect this information in a poll opposed to rambling Charger fans/Pats fans/Bandwagoners.

Even though the Pats have done what they've done, the Chargers still have a bitter taste in their mouths from last seasons divisional game.
If the SD defense is agressive like Baltimore's it will go down to the wire. If they are passive like Jacksonville, then I give the edge to the pats.
However, I'm sure that the NFL is going to tell the refs to make enough calls to make sure the Pats win.

If we beat the Colts with all the calls we got...................

And as for the Defense, we got an aggressive defensive. We got Shawne Merriman, one of the best line backers.

I sure hope LT, Rivers, and Gates can play or the Pats are going to dominate. I hate the pats, but it is going to take a gift from above (or from below) to let the chargers win it.

I am a browns fan! so i have no baisis, but i think the Jag's had the best chance. I am hoping the chargers will win, but unlikely and it seems that the BCS upsets are carrying over to the pros. :)

I'm hoping that the Pat's make the same mistakes that my Sooners made. Going into a game overconfident, not fired up, and unprepared.

unfortunatley, i voted for pats/blow out. i'd love them not to win, would make it easier for new york :)

Chargers blowout. Merriman will slip by Matt Light about middle of the first, sack Brady violently. Clean break of both legs at the knees, right on national television.

No that would be a Theisman moment...
As for the poster who claims the Chargers can't match up talent wise that is bunk. The Pats play with better chemistry and schemes but they don't have far and away better talent. I would say the Chargers D across the board is younger, faster, and better. Moss is the best WR in this game, so point for Pats, but the Gates, Jackson, Chambers combo isn't too far behind Watson, Moss, Welker. Brady vs Rivers hands down Brady, but Tomlinson vs Maroney hands down Tomlinson.
All in all the talent isn't tilting to one side, injuries are hitting the Chargers. The Chargers got beat up especailly on offense, that is why I think it will be the Pats but a close game.
