In tuff economic times the hobbyist can put together some nice (in my case that’s subjective) rockwork for their tanks.
Living close to the beach gives me an advantage of finding rock at the shoreline. But I am sure good usable rock can be found anywhere.
As is evident in my pictures. I am in no way artistic. I am sure most of the hobbyists can and will do a better job.
1 rock cost 0
12 oysters $9.00 (eat the oysters)
Two-part epoxy used $1.00
TOTAL $10.00 (did I mention I ate the oysters
).
I will post pictures when the rock has matured and I add some coral to the different levels
