Cheap light for sump?

I wanna put macro algae in my sump and was wondering if i just got a 60-90 watts bulb and put it in a metal clip on (maybe workshop style) from home depot for ten bucks or so would this work to grow caluerpa algae? thanks...

I use a 25w spiral PC in an aluminum clamp light from walmart on my refuge and it works fine, I even have some kenya trees growing under it.

i dont have a refuge but i plan to put somnthing inbetween the sump and the intake for the return.. perhaps a net or plexiglass to divide it up so it doest suck in the macro algae

The other thing that works real well in one of the clip on style work lights is a PC floodlight. It has one of the spiral bulbs incased in a floodlight. The beautiful thing here is that the floodlight bulb has a reflector built into it so you can remove the aluminum reflector that comes with it and not have to worry about the reflector getting covered in salt creep.
