unless your tank is as big as a house, then you need not worry.
 
ok, thanx for ur asvise but i found a sit were i can get a black tip for 120 and an white tip for 80 bucks thats is the cheapest i have ever seen!
 
i dont have that big of a tank for one yet but i plan / hope to be build ing a 10,000 tank or some thing of that size and that is a big tank.

10,000 is not nearly large enough for either, jmo
but, a 10,000 gallon tank is about the size of a 24 ft round swimming pool
3.5 to 4 ft deep
black timps and white tips get fairly good size, not just 2 or 3 ft long
ps, not sure but I would think that is not a bad price
 
hey just a thought but if u had a indoor pool and drained the water so there is no chemicals. then put sand and bunch of salt could that even work of even be suitable for a shark i know it will be one hell of a shark tank thats for sure!

Don't know anything about sharks, but I will say this. If you buy a shark for 120 that is going to me just a small fraction of the cost of a 10,000 gallon tank. So I would not worry about trying to save $10 on a fish. Don't take any offense, just offering my opinion.
