I placed 2 seperate orders from an online retailer and was very happy with both. Email me if you'd like the site.
You won't get many responses to this thread since no other websites can be given. :nope:

How about if you have ordered liverock, you give us the price per pound and your email so we can ask you where ya got it. :)
Please also post a little bit about the rock like shipping conditions, macroalgae, etc.

I ordered 25# of the $1.99 per pound stuff of the auction site and I was fairly happy with it. Color was alright, packaging was poor, overall for $4 and some change shipped, I will not order from them again. I found a place that I am VERY happy with and thier stuff is around $6 per pound shipped and is covered with color and I just found some polyps yesterday starting to pop out. For my money, I would rather pay alittle more and get better quality then find the cheapest guy on the block.

I can get it locally for $6 a pound and it is great quality, but I want the same quality for less money hehe.

I paid around $140-$150 for 45 pounds, including shipping. Thats, what, about $3/pound. I was very happy with how it was packaged and shipped. I got it within 24-hours of it being sent (California to Arizona), so I'm sure that helped with the very little die-off. Corraline was great on some pieces and just ok on others. I didn't really have much in the way of hitchhikers.

Anyone suggest anything? Thanks!

I have a suggestion, order base rock from HI rocks and save yourself a ton of money, at about a buck per pound it beats the heck out of ordering live rock at 6,7 or 8 bucks per pound. Then just add some liverock and livesand to that to seed it with.
nuff said.

3.79 lb for Fiji from reputable store in Philly, looked great. Will be buying for new tank there. Paid $7 for 90lbs for my first tank from a different store.
Tonga branch was like $6.99

I went to Wal-mart a while back looking for something...I found it and didn't really like the price(or the fact that I'd have to go against my better judgement and pay Wal-Mart money for anything)...so I stood inside the Wal-mart store and stopped every customer I could catch and asked each of them if they knew where I might be able to purchase this item cheaper from a more friendly store. I got lots of good advice and responses...but guess what...in no time at all the staff at that Wal-mart was asking me to leave....said stuff about not appreciating my requests for lower prices and friendlier service...I explained that I liked the product but wanted to find a little lower price and that I'd prefer not to purchase this item from Wal-Mart if I could avoid it....they said I was disrupting their customers and interfering with their business.............they kicked me out.....hummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....go figure!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
