I see how the owner of that aquarium is explaining how this is not something that people should attempt as it was not , well i will just leave it to his own words:
"I don't believe that a single one of the Crew would ever recommend stocking an aquarium in this manner, and I'm virtually certain that none of our readers would attempt such a system. It is our hope that no one interpreted the piece as a tacit approval of the featured system. Hopefully, anyone who found the aquarium featured in the piece offensive or contrary to their sensibilities will continue to dedicate themselves to spreading the WWM philosophy of conscientious husbandry to other hobbyists, for the benefit of the animals that we all cherish. Thank you so much for your feedback. We welcome interaction from our fellow hobbyists! Regards, Scott F."

It is rather interesting read though, all most all the fish are juvis, the largest fish is a 7 inch Conspic, and a 6 inch Crosshatch, and he relocates fish to more appropriate tanks as they mature....some of the pictures are intriging.

In all honesty and not to be cocky, I mean to each his own on what is cool, but I am not impressed. I see a tank waiting to have issues and a slap in the face of what we as responsible companies and aquarists in this field try to avoid from happening due to the unevitable outcome. Hopefully, NO ONE will read this and think they can do it as well. I also think, where do these fish rest and obviously no one can let their guard down. The rock doesnt have any life on it for being in the tank as long as it has been set up. Its a damn shame

Poor fish it would be like living in an elevator full of people. It seems like of oxymoronic for the "Conscientious Aquarist" to write such a puff piece on this guys tank. At least he is going to build a 4000 gallon system at his house, that would be a little more appropriate for his stocking list.

Notice at the bottom where the letters are, there is one that Bob Fenner takes regarding the article. It would seem he was not particularly amused.....I sent him my potential stock list for my 240 about a month ago, he flamed me for having 2 angels on the list

I especially like the "disclamer" then say oh this can be done on a smaller scale in a 55 gallon with tangs, dwarf Angels, ect. For the average aquarist.

This is nothing too new, Japanese tanks (or at least some of them) have been set up like this before. Jon, you're not seeing anything on the rocks as, not too much besides fish survive hyposalinity

yeah, I liked it better than the pirate flag.
Yeah, overstocking is nothing new. But it annoys me that he claims to be something he is not. O well.
