Check this out shark lovers.

I just wrote an email to him:
Hi.
I saw your black tip shark ad on ---- and am appalled. 1) Feeder goldfish are not good for the sharks' diet 2) A black tip shark will NOT grow to the size of your tank, and one in a 30 gallon is nothing short of animal abuse. 3) A 150 gallon is far too small. At least, please, give the correct info so someone can buy the shark with knowledge, rathar than trying to put it in a tank that's too small. Please, for the sake of these creatures, make the information honest.
-Jillian
Let's see what he says.

i think the guy is total bs. noone out there would buy a shark for 1000 and then sell it for 400. no matter if you were buying a lemon shark or not. If he does have a black tip reef shark then im trying to figure out how he found one so damn small. their birth size is usually 13 to 20 inches. well im sure it's really rare to find one 13 inches.novice how small is yours?oh and by the way i found some coral catsharks at a lfs. they had about 6 and they had a baby wobby with them i watched the wobby take a big chunk out of one of the coral catsharks. it was terrible

Got a response:
this is Kim. I just ment that you can feed them gold fish. But they eat other
things to. It's fun to see them chase after them. The guy that I bought the
shark from said that I can put it in a 150 gallon. But I have them in a 500
gallon sepret tanks. Thansk Kim

I was the winning bidder on both. He wants 650 for each I let him know that he set up an auction with no reserve and the highest bidder was legally obligated to it. He said he is using his moms account. The only reason I bid was
1. the price
2. COD if they showed up dead or some other big problem I could just send them back.
Thanks for the heads up I received from a few people!

Let us know when and if the sharks come in. Where are you going to put them? I'm glad someone smart bid on them and not some poor mislead fool!

Hello Kim
You had an auction with no reserve set up so it goes to the highest bidder that is why I sent you the e-mail a few days ago letting you know. If someone was going to pay you 650 for them that individual needed to place a bid on ----. Now the auction is closed and we have a legal deal. I'm willing to work with you if need be as I really only need one though a couple would have been nicer. Also you said you where going to get a nurse shark they may be cheaper here not sure but I could get you one for less then $200.
Talk to you soon Larry Henson

Just thought I'd throw my .02 in here.
I agree that this guy is, shall we say, a shady business man. There are alot of things he said, which are simply untrue. For one, these sharks do not usually cost $2500. He BSing ya. For two, what he said about the smaller sharks not shipping well is untrue. The smaller/younger the shark, the better they ship and acclimate to aquarium life.
On a different note. If you can actually get two of these sharks for 1200, that's a darn good deal IMO.
In terms of shipping. We all know that he's wrong as far as Fed Ex not shipping fish. But, I might be able to shed some light on the shipping issues. You can set up your own Fed Ex account online for free. Then you can personally schedule a pick up using your own account #. They will pick up and ship to where you tell them to. Then they charge you for the shipping. No worries about him inflating the shipping charges:) I am not 100% sure if you can schedule a pick up from a residence though. It may have to be a business, so check this out first.
Next these things are not at all cheap to ship. I can tell you that for certain. The box my shark came in weighed a total of 112 pounds. That much weight shipped over night can cost some $$$.
I hope this all works out good for you, IMO its a shame that people like Kim are involved in the hobby.

Ya this guy is a joke, besides I talked to some others on here and my 400 is not really big enough to keep them very long :( I just hope if he does sell them that it is to someone that can care for them now and in the future. The only way I would have done it is if he did the COD so I could check them before I paid.
Oh well time to look at some smaller sharks.

You should write to ---- and show them what he originally wrote on the site and the emails he sent y9ou and that you sent him. Possibly, they can take care of this and make him take CODs. At the very least, they should. It was a legally binding contract as you said before. Email him and tell him he has to take the COD since he said he would when you originally bid. Make it forceful. Probably he will buckle and let you. Good luck!
