Ya cant lol. They can survive for quite a while without food, so give it time. Meaty foods is key, like mysis

You can squirt cyclopeeze when they are closed and that encourages them to open, once they open use a syringe to feed them.

ok.. a week and a half and they havent opened... uh oh
They normally only open at night so if your looking while the lights are on your probably not going to see much. Also if you want to make them open put them in a bowl of water outside the aquarium in a dark place and put some cyclopleze or other small food in the bowl and swirl it around. I believe feeding them this way is the easiest way to do it. Let them sit for about a half an hour then put them back into the tank. Make sure you temp acclimate them as you put them back. This coral is not a beginner coral if you do not feed them about twice a week they will waste away.

you can train them. what i had to do to get mine to start eating was to spray it with cyclopeeze. then it would open and you could feed it. After a while I would just start feeding my fish and the food in the water would cause it to open. Wait like twenty minutes and then feed the coral. it is really not that hard. just dont go on vacation and have half it die off
they do grow new heads pretty quick though once they get going
