check vavle

I was wodering if anyone knows of any kind of check vavle that is used on the return line from the sump to the tank so that that there is that in case of a power outage the water from the tan does not get siphoned back into the sump.

Yeah you can use a check valve on the return line of the tank from the sump, and that is where they are usually placed......you can find them at Lowes, HD or anywhere online as well....They are nice, but do have a tendency to fail, so don't just rely on the check valve as your safety means.....You can get really nice ones that are clear and rebuildable as well....you just have to search for them.
