Anyone who lives in EQ country, make sure you check your tanks after you have one. We had a fire after one, due to a sump shift, because it was spritzing water on the outlet.
We just had a rocker and all the fish were being thrown around. Poor things. I hope all the tanks in San Diego are safe and sound because if we felt it that bad..... there are fish on the floor down there.

Good call, that is something most people probably don't plan for. A bad fire? Any losses?
The fire was literally moments away from everything going up. I still can't sleep with my bedroom door closed. We had to gut out a tank because there was soot in it. The mantis molted and got shell rot after that.
We are all good here. Thankfully we just replaced a stand last month that was somewhat unstable.... that would have been a goner.

Ya, that's the one that rocked the tanks. Then there were a couple more. One an after shock in the 4s and then another epicenter in the 5s.
I'm sure she's gonna be jiggling for a few days.... but never take for granted that nothing shifted. Stick your head in your cabinet... run your hand down the wall and in front of the outlet..... EACH TIME!
I just said last night that we were going to have one because the dog was acting like a nut at 3am.
