I am in the process of buying a house, and am considering selling my reef tank. It is a custom made acrylic 240. Dimensions are 4'X4'X2' (it is like a huge square. Acrylic is .75" thick I believe. Tank is totally reef ready with all the ball valves, bulkheads, and fittings. Calfo style overflow, 2 big iwaki pumps, Euroreef skimmer, UV sterilizer, custom acrylic sump, refugium, 2x250 metal halide lights in homemade canopy, Great White Algae Magnet, acrylic repair kit. One pump runs a closed loop, and the other runs the open loop. Several hundred pounds of live rock completely covered in corals. LOTS of Xenia, lots of different mushrooms, lots and lots orange and blue ricordia, several SPS and LPS, blastomussa, acanthastrea, couple big frogspawns (basketball size), torch, open brains, closed brains, pagoda, TONS of GSP, yellow scroll, lots of zoanthids and palythoa, hundreds of crabs and snails(strombus, cerith, astrea), blue hippo tang, yellow watchman goby, bi-color pseudochromis, gold strip maroon clown, and TONS of other stuff I am sure I am forgetting. I love the tank but it is going to be a pain to move, so I am considering getting rid of it if I can sell it all at once. I know it is easier to part it out, but I am short on time. If i can not find a buyer for the whole thing I will just move it to the new house and keep it. As I said I am just testing the waters to see if anyone is looking for a complete big system. Price would be very reasonable......let me know your thoughts

I will add more pics later today. I am including everything I have with this. Additives, test kits, hydrometers, filter socks, carbon, treatments, extra pumps, extra metal halide bulbs, PC lights, and all the other stuff I have in closets and boxes around my place. You know how it gets when you have been in this hobby for 6 or 7 years, you forget how much stuff you actually have. I will try and get a list of all equipement if I can. I was thinking of letting everything go for $2800. let me know if you have any questions or thoughts. I move into my new house before the end of may, and it sure would be nice to not have to move the tank

I ran though some numbers and cameup with this.
$1100 for all corals, fish, and other critters
$3/lb for the rock
$1300 for tank, stand, canopy, skimmer, UV, all halides, sump, fuge, all pumps, extra halide bulbs ballast and reflectors, and all other test kits, additives, and spare pumps.
do these numbers seem fair? I will make a package deal for all of it. make me an offer....

LOL knew it wouldnt take long. Dont let someone lowball you. Its a nice set up. Oh and try to hide some of the "extras" you have built up in closets and nooks and crannies. We are all constant scavengers.........
