cheeky blue cheeked goby

added this slender little fella into my aquarium just 2 days ago
everything is good except that its not eating anything not fish food not shrimp meat
does this fish have any special diet? x()

Tell me you didn't add a fish to your tank that you knew nothing about? Tsk tsk tsk
That said,it should be eating the shrimp if you chopped it fine enough to fit in his/her yap. Frozen brine may do the trick. I have also been told not to get too excited about fish not eating for a couple of days.

lots of fish will not eat for the first couple days, and ive even read about some taking 2 weeks to eat. so i wouldnt really worry too much just yet. good luck, and hope he adjusts to his new diet.

Added a Firefish to my tank. It took it one week before it would even come out into site and another two weeks before it would eat in front of me. But I did notice that it shares the same hole as my bar goby which would bring food into the hole. If it's looking good and active, it's probably waiting til you aren't looking to get a bite.
