When do you know when there is too much cheetos in the refugium??

Also do you cut it of just pull it apart when thinning it out??

I never place cheetos in the fuge..... I eat them. Also, the cheesy powder will turn your water orange just like it does to your fingers.

now on the the question....
I just pull it apart and tell the kids its going to be in the salad that night for dinner.

It grows so fast that really depends on the size of your refugium. I take out about 1/2 every month. Then I spread whats left apart and place it back in the water.

As to your question, I would cut it back about half way every month as well.

What kind of light are you guys placing over it? Mine barely grows. I have CF 64K flood over mine.

Tang....I have a 13watt plant light. reverse lighting

LOL. Well my fish like the extra sharp chedder.

They are from N.Y. and like the hot stuff. Some times they even jump into the overflow box so take a ride down the intake to get to them.

Thanks for the fun and the serious side. Going to get a weed wacker for these cheetos.

Well i can't seem to get rid of this cheesy residue on my corals and on the glass. Looks just like cheeto orange.

i just tried the two new flavors of cheetos... Jalapeno and Cheddar and Flamin Hot with Limon... both are very tastey!!! and go great with an ice cold beer... but i would not reccomend either of them for your fuge... might increase the tanks temp...
