my lfs sold me a two bottle chemical to add to tank its made by tropical science and is called nitromax marine it is supposed to cut down cycling time,the bottle says that it adds nitrosomonas and nitrobacter bacteria and by doing so it quickens cycle process also comes with a oxygenating booster,here is what i got going on i have a 90 gallon no livestock took them out 2 days ago have 90lbs of live rock in the tank been running for over a year,i added another 90 lbs of uncurred live rock and putting it through another cycle is there anything that i can add to quicken cycle or r they all just moneymakers that dont work ,and has anybody tried the stuff i purchased and what did u think of it,i have a skimmmer on tank and several powerheads going i dont mind waiting for it to cycle but if i can i would love to speed it up.
