Just purchased a Chevron Tang. If any of you guys have any tips/advice as far as feeding, habbits, etc... please let me know. I paid $130 for it and want to make sure it gets good treatment :D

Treat it like any other tang as far as introducing it. They get stessed/ick easy like other tangs. They feed/act alot like Kole Tangs, brissletooth tangs. Might want to let some algae grow on you glass so it can feed on it till it gets used to eating other stuff if you have trouble getting it to eat. They like to graze off algae on LR. Try nori strips and meaty stuff. They are very pretty when they are young but as they get older they turn dark green to black. Thats not a bad price. This site sells them for $100. Post pics when you can.

I figured by the time you add shipping and other charges, it'll be almost same price as LFS price. This way I get it immediately and take it home instead of waiting for it to arrive.
I use seaweed sheets every other day and I switch between red sheets and the green sheets. I heard the red sheets give color to the fish.
I hope this guy survives and prospers in the tank. I've never paid this much for a fish, but it does look very beautiful.
Pics will be posted soon.
Thank You

They are my favorite tang and are supposed to be pretty docile, I wish I could get one but I have several tangs already. They really are beautiful. Carrie

so far it's doing great. Today I watched it a while and it was just all over my LR eating algae. It didn't eat the food I threw in the tank though, but that's normal I guess for a few days.
I'll take pics soon and post
