Their is a decent one off of Boughton Rd in the Ikea Stor. I think it is in the Petland HOWEVER IT IS NOT PART OF IT. I have been in there lots of times had a few fish from there before my tank crashed in August good quality however pricing was a little high I thought. Yet they carry alot of stuff the normal LFS would not have instock all the time.

Don't buy from Tropiquatics. The prices are way too high for fish that don't live. Here is a list of places I shop.
Beyond the Reef (nice selection)
Living Sea (expensive but HIGH quality.) This is my favorite Chicagoland store. Can get ANYTHING.
Old Orchard Aquarium (nice selection)
Old Town Aquarium (Chicago) They have high ticket items. Always have at least one Black Tang.
Petland in Naperville SOMETIMES has something really nice for not too much.
Reef Depot (appt. only) CHEAP amazing corals.
Reef Plus (pretty good but small)
That is all I can think of at the moment. You can check them out more with google.

Aquarium Adventure? That is part of Petland. I agree. They are so expensive.

Why I love my New house. The Blue Ribbon eel I was going to pick up for my wife Friday carpet surfed AT THE LFS on Thursday night and DIED. Man I was PISSED Owner is ordering me a another one and selling it to me for 50 bucks along with getting me a 6 inch yellow for 40 bucks. Helps he is the LFS that gives my reef club a discount on Purchases we get anything we order from him Special like this at HIS cost plus 1%. Not a bad benefit for a set of 25 a year dues.

Thanks Eaglephot. I have been to a couple of those and am going to check out the others. I agree about Living Seas Aquarium. That's where i have bought every single one of my fish and even though there prices are high there quality is well worth it

Glad to hear it! It probably is the best in the Chicagoland area. I got a beautiful 5 inch Purple Tang there. The coloring is fantastic.

I'm sure that cost a pretty penny. I've bought a total of 10 fish and they have all been great. I usually try to take advantage of there sales which are decent. Staff is pretty knowledgeable too.
