Seriously, use the search button at the top of this page and you should find what you are looking for.

I did do the search that is how I know who posted the thread....what I was hoping for was a pic a little farther back than the one he/she posted so that I could see placement in the tank....:) :notsure:

create a new thread and put Attn: Niger12. Hopefully he will see it. I just did that recently for someone, and it worked. :)

I will post a couple more pics. As far as placement, they are not photosynthetic so it is best to put them in a cave or overhang. They also like tons of flow, this will also keep algae from growing on them and will benifit from regular spot feeding. After adding more corals to my tank I had to move mine out of its overhang and the lights were to bright. Always had algae on it. I have since traded it to a friend who has N.O. lights and it is thriving in his tank.

Thanks Niger....i appreciate your reply....i have mine placed similiarly to yours so i feel better.....didn't realize it was just going to "lay around" or I might have picked a different coral for some color in the tank.....
Thanks again for getting back to me!

They don't do much when lights are on. Try to spot feed it regularly with lights on and I have been told you can train to open up during the day. Also increase the flow by pointing a powerhead right at it if you can.

ok....may have to move him over a bit but I have him in what I call my turnaround flow in the tank (where it hits the glass and starts heading back the other way) will watch him a few days.....he's still acclimating just got him on Friday so not enough time to tell yet if he likes the spot or not and he has been getting the "white dots" on him at night because i checked in on him last night.....so again too early to tell but I was hoping to get him settled only once from some of your shots of yours and i truly appreciate your reply. Again, I probably should have gotten a different red coral but live and learn ... and so far so good so now only time will tell.....:)
