Wat do u guys like? Our family usually goes after the biggest freaking one we can find (we have a 13 foot ceiling in our family room) and Mom just goes ballistic trying to find one (we usually cut it) I just got back from selling precut ones at a church, and the thought's just in my head: Do you like em big or small? Do you cut your own, or buy it pre-cut?
Thanx

You probably won't believe this, but we have 5 Christmas trees! We have 4 large windows (2 down and 2 up) and we put a 5' tree in each window. The 5th tree (8') goes in the family room. However, I didn't feel like dragging them all out this year, so I've sent my husband on a mission to find a live tree this year and that's the only one that's going up!

Just bought a fake 6.5 foot tree at walmart for $39.99. My parents used to use a live tree but the past couple years we haven't had one up at all.

Man, fake trees are taking all the fun outta getting yer own trees. But watever, i guess its just more common in the north/ northeast cuz we actually have trees to put up, lol

13Ft real tree here!
It's about 8 FT in diameter at the bottom lol!
It was a good idea gone bad.
We had a pine tree that we were gonna cut down anyways..
so we figured "this would also make a good tree"
Get it up stairs and find out it had a nest of spiders and a whole assortment of bugs...
I spent the whole night killing bugs..Couldn't spray the tree as it's next to my tank!!

Next year FAKE TREE!

^^^ Did the same thing this year, my grandparents wanted some trees cut down in their yard, so we found the best "Christmas like" one we could get, and took that one home. Its pretty good, the same kind we usually buy every year. And at least it went to good use! And it kind of does have that charlie brown tree likeness too it at the top!

There actually is a lot of differnt kinds. There a place I used to go when I was little, you go on a farm, and they take you on a hayride, and theres like 5 or 6 (or maybe more) different types, all with different names. Just really has to do with the size of the needles, and stuff, I think.

I just read on the site, and the place I used to go to has 13 different types, and over 100,000 to choose from. They take you all around, and you pick out which one you want, adn they either cut it down then, or you tag it and they cut it down later for you. Its pretty cool. :D

Yea, its nice in the northeast. U can cut yer own down. They also can grow these tres in the north ya know. It's nice to go out on a cold day though, htich a ride on the hay ride, go searching through the rows of trees and find the one u want. Then u get to cut it down and drag it to the road for them to pick up. Nice fires at the tractor stations, hot cocoa and...oxen, lol. We just put our treee up, smaller than usual, but good enough. Took a while to get standing though, stand wouldnt cooperate

We have a 5' real tree. The older we get the smaller the tree. If it was up to me I would get a fake tree about a foot tall, ( wife wants a real tree).

6' Fraser. Nice tree, fragrant, nice blue white variations of color mixed with the green. The Frasser is about the only tree that gets shipped down my way. Its a short-needled tree. I'd love to get a long needle.
I guess if you don't mind paying extra, you can actaully order your tree online these days.
