Chocolate Chip Starfish eating anemoe?????

So I wake up this morning early to the filter sounding funny. I notice my starfish appears to be eating my anemoe. Its laying right on top of it. Im now assuming the anemoe to be dead????? Do I need to remove the anemoe or just let the star finish eating it????? I removed the star off of the anemoe.

Chocolate Chip starfish tend to eat corals, clams, and oysters.
They are not reef safe!

It depends on how bad you anemone is hurt, personally I'd remove him or the Chocolate Chip starfish unless you want it to happen again.
