Chocolate Chip Starfish growth

Hey everyone, I've had this Chocolate Chip starfish (sorry for spelling in title) for over a year and I don't think it's grown at all in this time. It's still about 3" like the day I got it. Is there anything special I'm supposed to feed it? Usually it eats whatever it finds, but once in a while I'll feed it raw shrimp or silversides. But this is only when I can reach it. Sometimes it's on the back of the tank or places I can't reach. I'd say I only feed it myself once a week.

I think they grow rather slowly.

Thanks, that's good to know. I thought maybe I wasn't feeding it enough.
