Yeah, I didn't think of this, but yeah, I would not risk it. It doesn't matter how well fed the puffer is.

Thanks guys. I think i wont get the star but, i put some snails in and the puffer and the wrasse and the angel haven't picked on them. So i am wondering if they would pick on the star. I'm confused

Back when I had my puffer, he would never bother my snails, but he picked on my starfish to the point where I had to remove the starfish. The starfish made it, but it definitely would not have if I left it in there with the puffer.

my cc devours nori on a clip
he takes out a big piece overnight
just yesterday, i left a piece of 1"w by 3" long in a clip on the side wall
gone this morning !

he should be eating something meaty. they are mainly carnivourous
