Chocolate chip starfish

What does a dead starfish look like?? I have a chocolate chip starfish that looks healthy but has not moved in about 2 days.

They kinda disintegrate...I think you'd know

Yes, and it stayed in the corner of the tank for almost a week once...

+1 they disintegrate, you'll know when he's dead. If he got a good meal he may just stay there for a while and rest.

Dear hobbyist, make sure that your ph is 8.2 - 8.4. I had a chocolate chip star fish in my aquarium that stopped moving, so I checked the ph ,and it was 7.8 ,but it was already to late, it died

. At times starfish do slow down,but just to be on the safe side ,check your ph .

i agree w/ hammerhed. i have a choc chip star and every so often i'll put a cube of food under it, and it won't move for a day or so. have you tried moving it?

flip it upside down. It should right itself up almost immediately.
