chocolate starfish missing

i got a what my local fish store called a chocolate starfish and put it in the tank the other day. it hit the bottom and moved off to my coral rock, climbed the rock and i haven't seen it since. this is the first one i have ever owned and was wandering if this is normal and what i can expect to see.

Stars are nocturnal by nature, and usually just come out at night, some are a little more "visual" than others, but usually they do their feeding and such at night time...Its probably made a home for itself under some of the rock...
What else is in your tank??

Wild, go to my profile at the top right hand corner and click view and update and scroll down to signature and put in what you have---at least that is how I did it.

Its a possibility the Eel might have gotten it too, or its just veggin..

susiepan just looked in the tank after the lights had been off for a while and the starfish was on top of the rocks. good call
