I saw a large chocolate tang tonight at the lfs--it was BEAUTIFUL!! If my tank was up and running, he would have come home with me!!
Where are you located in Indiana? We saw him in Fort Wayne.

I'm not positive that they labeled him correctly--haven't been able to find anything that looks quite like him online--still doing some research. He is at least 6 inches long, looks very healthy and eating well. He is shaped like a Tennant Tang but much more vivid coloration. He was dark brown with orange on his fins and lower belly and almost a yellow cast on his middle. He definately has the chocolate color but fins and middle are more colorful than anything I've seen online. They were asking $100 for him. I normally like fish that are really colorful, but he sure did get my attention.

Okay--just found one online that looks like him. It is a mimiac/chocolate tang. Didn't know they were the same thing, just change colors as they mature. Love that, cause I have actually been interested in the mimiac tangs as well--get two for one!! :cheer: Online they were asking $100 + shipping for the adult chocolate tang. Several of the pictures online do not do them justice--the one at the lfs had alot more coloration.
