chocolatechip starfish question

how do you know if your star fish is sick? I came home today and its tenticles are still moving as is he but it looks like the center of him is becoming solid like where his mouth would be?:notsure:

i think he was just eating he looks fine now. HOw do you know if they are dying though?

they can do a lot of things.....one of big ones is their legs will start to shrivel up.
When they eat, their stomach will come out and engulf what they are eating. Ours will have his out for awhile. Kind of gross looking. We give him a small piece of shrimp about 2 times a week.
