It's funny because its a Mac and they spend all their time advertising about how their computers never crash or have any problems.

I hate MAC's!! My business partner has been trying to convince me to switch to a MAC for the longest time. He just doesn't realize that MAC's are not made for the business world. For graphics, video, etc they are great....but for running corporate programs and stuff, they just don't work well.
And like was said before....all they do is say MAC's are unbreakable...MAC's don't need updates...MAC's don't get viruses....I love to hear that one crashed!!!

It stinks thinking about the data that may be lost, but it's great to hear that MAC's aren't bulletproof after all!!

Well, I don't really keep up with the shiny boxes that I type words into, I will say Mac's have one of the most effective advertising campaign I have ever seen. Simply brilliant.

Because my wife is a Mac fan girl. And all I ever hear is how she refuses to use a PC. And how great mac's are. It is almsot a cult like following.
So this is like a christmas present because I get to rub it in that my PC is working...

Absolutely Apple has 2 things their good at, advertising and their touchscreen technology. They are done a brilliant job at product differentiation. I don't think there is another company that has such a cult like product following in the electronics industry. In an industry that has raced to the bottom and used price as a differentiator they've been able to say their product is better and con enough people into paying twice as much as a comparable competitor's system. Business wise they are something to emulate.

What's a "Mac"? Is that just one all-beef patty, special sauce,lettuce,cheese, pickles, onions, on a sesame seed bun?

They have to be good at marketing.....their company is named for a fruit for God's sake...
