Christmas Comes Early!!!

My husband is giving me a new tank for Christmas and here is the list:
All-Glass WAVE 95g glass tank with MegaFlow with stand
Bio-Fil 125 wet/dry filter
Arctica DBA-15 - 1/5HP chiller
Little Giant 4-MDQX-SC motor for filter and chiller
ASM G-2 Skimmer
T-5 48" lighting
LR and LS
Stealth 200 heater
Plumbing and seting up, power strip and misc supplies
This is going to be a FOWLR. LFS wants $3K for all these items......they will deliver and set it up. Is this a good deal?
I can't wait to get the tank :jumping: Please give me your thoughts.

Sounds like a GREAT setup! I don't know about the price. I generally don't buy dry goods (except tanks) from LFS. Setup and service from the local is NICE though.

It sounds great except at that price I would insist on MH's and VHO's.

price seems kinda high.......i would take the list and look around at the many online sites.
i guess it would be alright to have someone set up a tank. but i get a great deal of satisfaction from my tank knowing i did it myself.also in so doing i have learned so much about reefkeeping it is remarkable and i havent even scratched the surface. one of the things i learned about buying from lfs is that they are more concerned about the items they are selling me and what the profit margin is, then what is best for my tank.there can be a lot of money saved by searching classifieds for things like live rock ,lighting,etc. my lfs gets 6.00 per lb for lr, i just bought some from someone in a forum like this for 3.00 per lb shipped. so i reccomend doing some research and strive to learn everything you possibly can about your new critters and the evironment they need to thrive,not survive
