Yes, not sure what the cause, I went away for almost 2 months, and had to ask my family to take care of my tank, thats what I came back to, plus lots of hair algae -my nitrates were up a little when I got back, but I did water change right away, and my water param. have been good ever since. I've narrowed it down to 3 things,
1.) They topped off, with my regular water instead of the ro, they swear they didn't not sure if I believe them.
2.) they didn't feed the algae sheets everyday like they promised.
3.) could be a long shot, but our house was hit by lightning while we were gone, all the televisions were damaged, fridge, chimmney, lamps, almost anything not on a surge protector. The tank lights were damaged as well, I'm surprised the tank wasn't fried, but all my fish are still alive, but after reading some of the post about stray voltage I was wondering.
Now that his momma is back I hope it clears up soon. I'm thinking of trying the zoecon to help. Never had to use that before and I had him for 2 1/2 yrs.
I'll post pic when he gets better.

You're tank is impressive. I love the see-through tank that looks good from both sides with good access. Beautiful job!

That is real nice. I like how you have done it so you can see it from 2 different rooms.

Thanks, what a great hubby I have to build it for me.
Wow I need to talk to your husband. I just bought my first house in october and I want to put a 125 between my kitchen and living room wall. I do have a few questions about taking the wall studs out. Did he have to put a header and footer on the wall studs that he cut down, or did he take them all the way out. If you took them all the way out what is giving the ceiling support?
Thanks,
Justin
