Chromis Getting Their Freak On?

I have a pair of green chromis that I believe are, well uh, you saw the title of the thread. What they do is lock lips and swim up and down and then wiggle there tails together. Sorry for the lame description but that is the only way I can describe it. Is this a mating ritual and if so has anyone successfully had chromis mate and produce offspring in captivity?

im not exactly sure what it is they are doing. but ours was doing the same thing yesterday looked like their kissing.

You didn't happen to have Barry White on the radio did you?

i wonder if its mating season because there are 3 in the tank and all of them got along fine but now their doing this kissing thing and sort of leaving the 3rd on his own and keep chasing and picking on him. i was wondering if i got a 4th where he could buddy up would the other 2 leave him alone. and would it get back to normal and they all get along again?

I think I had Al Green on to be honest with you. I had 3 originaly maybe that is why the third is M.I.A. Atleast my wife thinks its "so cute", maybe I can convince her that they need their own 300+gal to call their own
