Chromis

I read somewhere that Green Chromis need veggies. Is this true?
I normally feed the fish I have flakes five times a week, brine shrimp twice a week, and every once in a while I'll throw in some formula one. If I got a couple Chromis would this be good enough nutrition?

I've always had chromis,and they have never eaten greens.I put it out every day for my tangs,They never touch it.They are probably the hardiest fish on earth.THE COCKROACH of fishes. They will thrive on anything. HEY,I heard if you cut the head off of a cockroach it will live for a few days.Till it finally dies of STARVATION. Just a little known fack I thought you all might need some day. STEVE

Im not sure that they need greens but my two (jack and jill) eat anything when my emperor and tang are ripping the seaweed sheets apart they are right behind them eating any pieces that get away. My cleaner wrasse and anthias even eat it.

Ok Thanks. I have a three strip damsel and a velvet damsel. Can I put in two or three green chromis or will they get harassed to death?

The three stripe can be pretty nasty so I would take him back to the lfs if you want chromis. Even if you dont want chromis you may want to take it back before adding any other fish. They will nip at fish 5 times their size.
